Hey there! I’m Stephie, the proud founder of Skinology Face Bar, and I’m thrilled to share a little about my vision with you. My goal was simple: break away from the standard solo sessions you find in typical facial spas. Instead, we offer 30-minute targeted facials that cut out the fluff and focus on what really matters—getting you the results you’ve been searching for, all at prices that won’t break the bank. Let’s be honest, we all have shelves full of products that just don’t deliver, right?

I often found myself asking, “Why should a facial cost $50-$100 while the products we buy are $150-$200 for a tiny 1.2 oz?” It just didn’t add up! So, whether you’re here to catch up with a friend at our lively face bar or treating yourself to some well-deserved solo time, we’ve got you covered. We thought, “Why not offer the best of both worlds?”

Creating an upbeat space where everyone feels welcome was super important to me. I wanted to provide a level of customer service that’s often missing in the industry. At Skinology, we proudly serve women, teens, men, and the LGBT community because everyone deserves to feel fantastic in their skin!

With over six years of experience as a licensed esthetician, my mission is to educate you and personalize your skincare routine for real, visible results. Skincare is a commitment, and together, we’ll make sure you achieve the results you want—we're a team! I also take immense pride in my amazing staff; they truly embody the spirit of our mission. As I love to say, “The vibe attracts your tribe,” and I wouldn’t be where I am without them!

When I’m not helping clients glow, I’m indulging my other passion as an interior designer, creating beautiful spaces that inspire. My motto? “Less is more.” In my spare time, you can find me having fun with my family, cooking up a storm with my husband Chad, or snuggling with my two pups, Jax and Jema. But the best part of my day? Seeing the smiles on my clients' faces when they look in the mirror after their service—now that’s truly priceless!

With an extensive background spanning over two decades on the East Coast, my primary commitment lies in assisting clients in alleviating a spectrum of discomforts, ranging from minor ailments to chronic conditions, through the time-honored practice of massage therapy. Massage therapy serves as a pivotal tool in augmenting the body's innate ability for self-regulation and healing. I approach my craft with utmost respect, tapping into my intuitive understanding of your body's unique requirements. Drawing upon a diverse array of techniques honed over years of experience, including roles held in Chiropractic clinics and upscale Day Spas in New York City, I am dedicated to providing exceptional outcomes. Your encounter with my therapies promises to be truly exceptional. Hello! I’m Amanda Traver, a proud Perrysburg, Ohio native. My passion for embracing the beauty of nature was sparked by growing up in a home where my mom championed all-natural products. Her commitment to using the finest ingredients shaped my journey into the beauty industry.

I hold degrees in communications and science, which have given me the tools to effectively share important messages and understand the nuances of natural ingredients. But my journey didn’t stop there! I continually seek to blend my academic knowledge with my love for beauty through ongoing learning and professional development.

To further enhance my skills, I’ve earned certifications in dermaplaning, head massage/ scalp detoxification, and lash extensions. My mission is to empower others to celebrate their natural beauty while promoting wellness and self-care. I strive to inspire individuals to embrace their unique qualities and find confidence in their own skin.
